Great Product!!!!!,
Best set of headphones i’ve ever owned. This is about my 3rd. pair of these headphones that i’ve owned. Reasons for purchase: (1) headdphones have a retractable cord and excellent noise canceling. (2) I don’t like the in-ear type headphones “they hurt my ear”. Finally, I clip on my iPod nano to the headphones and can run with no cord(s) hanging down for me to trip on when i run. I highly recommend these for anyone who is looking for a full headphone style. Hopefull, JVC will continue to make them as i will continure to purchase them.

Another reviewer stated that the noise cancelling feature on these is hardly noticeable. I think there is a misconception on noise cancelling. whoever buys this kind of headphones and decides to shout that they don’t cancel surrounding noise should get a clue on what this feature is and how it works. I’m not writing an article on noise cancelling so I’m not going to explain the science behind it, you can find great articles on it all over the web. My point is to review these headphones which, for the price, are excellent. many people forget that there is a reason if a pair of headphones costs 50 bucks and another pair costs 300+, and write idiot reviews comparing the performance of the two. Of course these don’t perform as well as high end bose headphones (duh) which I had the chance to try out on several occasions. I tested my jvc’s on a car and on a plane, switching the noise cancelling feature on and off without playing any music. the results were surprisingly good and made the listening experience far more comfortable, especially on the plane. What I also love about these is the retractable cord, which is really practical for travelling. these headphones also come with an adapter for double 3.5 jacks found on some planes. the build quality is solid and they are quite comfortable for a few hours, of course this also depends on size and shape of the head and ears. Altogether a great buy! price to quality ratio gets 5 stars all the way!

the head phones are remarkable.see consumers reports as we do its a wining combo!!best under $60 head set; this unit has great sound,& noise cancelling feature that works.
